Background

Organisations publish reports every day. Most are annual statements, focused on financials. But recently, as more companies look beyond profit, a new format has started to emerge: the impact report. It’s sometimes called a mission, sustainability or DE&I report, but it always has the same goal: show how your work affects people and planet. As we help many organisations design their impact reports, we've created our own as well.

Impact

The report follows a three-chapter structure, just like our design process. We start with an introduction to our mission and an overview of global partners. We continue with a deeper dive into our work, covering our process and a few impactful project examples. The last chapter shows how we connect with the larger data visualisation community through trainings and conferences. The report gives a glimpse into who we are and why we do data storytelling for mission-driven organisations.
